About me
Hello, I’m Sarah Wolstenholme, a qualified therapist and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I offer a warm, supportive space where you can feel truly heard and understood. My approach is primarily person-centred but I can also draw on other therapeutic methods where helpful, always tailored to your needs and at your own pace.
I have experience of supporting people through a range of challenges, including anxiety, low self esteem, bereavement, relationship difficulties, work related stress and major life transitions. I’ve also supported individuals in a caring charity environment, helping those who are navigating experiences related to caring. My background in Human Resources across both charity and business sectors brings a practical, empathetic understanding to our work together.
I work in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework to ensure you receive safe, professional and compassionate care. As part of my commitment to good practice. I also undertake regular continuing professional development. My qualifications include a Foundation Degree in Counselling ,BA (Hons) in Psychology (with a minor in English Literature) and a MSc in Human Resource Management
